The Los Angeles Rams will pick from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Air Operations, marking the first time in NFL history that a team will conduct its pick operations from a fire station.
LAFD
With Zillow’s help, the Rams and LAFD will transform a space in LAFD Air Operations into the Draft headquarters for head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead from April 24 to 26. Additionally, they will use a nearby hangar to accommodate coaches, scouts, team members, and media that will be present for the three-day event.
LAFD
NFL Network, ABC, ESPN, and ESPN Deportes will all broadcast the 2025 NFL Draft for all three days, with two primetime coverage evenings on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25.
LAFD
The Rams will collaborate with Zillow to update the LAFD Air Operations leisure room, giving firefighters a cozier, more homey area to relax in between callouts as part of their ongoing efforts to assist the LA community in the wake of January’s historic wildfires. Bob’s Discount Furniture, a Rams partner, will supply the room’s recliners.
LAFD
Los Angeles Rams President Kevin Demoff stated, “Drafting from LAFD Air Operations is a powerful reminder of what it means to represent Los Angeles.” “We have sought to unite LA Together to support the recovery efforts, uplift the emotions of those affected, and highlight our first responders since the wildfires decimated our area in January. We are honored to join LAFD in honoring individuals who put their lives in danger every day to keep our city safe on one of the NFL’s most significant occasions.
LAFD
The Rams have provided many forms of assistance to wildfire recovery efforts across Los Angeles. The team has organized two significant distribution events for families who have been evacuated, football clinics for affected youth, including taking 250 LA County Care Camp students who were impacted by the Eaton Fire on a field trip to SoFi Stadium, delivering meals to base camps and fire stations, and distributing backpacks and merchandise alongside Rams coaches, players, and mascot Rampage.
The Rams have contributed about $2 million to fire relief efforts so far, including a $1 million grant to the LAFD Foundation from The Kroenke Family Foundation.
LAFD
Interim Fire Chief Ronnie Villanueva stated, “We are immensely appreciative of the Los Angeles Rams’ steadfast support of the Los Angeles City Fire Department and our communities affected by wildfires.” The NFL Draft being held at LAFD Air Operations serves as a reminder of the vital role our Air Operations Division plays in safeguarding Los Angeles, particularly during the wildfire season. The Rams have shown their dedication to the city we all serve by remodeling our station and honoring our firemen. We’re excited to support the Rams at this significant occasion.”
LAFD
The Rams’ official store, The Equipment Room at SoFi Stadium, and www.RamsFanShop.com both sell custom LAFD hats, sweatshirts, and shirts with the LA Rams monogram. All proceeds from these sales go to the American Red Cross and the LAFD Foundation.
LAFD
Profits from the sale of Rams LAFD caps and shirts are not kept by the NFL, the Los Angeles Rams, New Era, or Fanatics. The American Red Cross and the LAFD Foundation will use the money generated from the sale of these items to assist local firefighters and those affected by the Southern California wildfires.
